Just the mention of Michael Vick’s name makes my skin crawl. The fact that he was reinstated in the NFL makes me watch to donkey kick America in the face. What a depressing indication of where society’s priorities lay. I’m not at all surprised that the Eagles were the ones to snatch him up, though. After all, these are the fans who booed while Michael Irvin lay injured and paralyzed on the field. Even Santa Claus was met with hostility when fans decided to boo and pelt him with snowballs. They’re well known for their boorish behavior. Given this, it makes sense that a cruel degenerate, such as Vick, would be welcomed with open arms.
I don’t have time to climb on my soapbox at the moment and articulate ALL of the reasons I so strongly dislike Vick. I felt the ASPCA’s stand was close to mine, so I’ll let them do some talking. Check out the link.

He makes my skin crawl also. But what about the woman who he is currently have sex with and is the mother of his children? She cannot be said to have high self-esteem. She is a gold-digger and like someone said, our society has lost sight of good values. I hope he breaks his neck out there on the field. Hide your beagle, Vick is an Eagle!!! I hope the PETA people shame the f–k out of this freak.

Here’s another link worth checking out. I’m glad the ASPCA took a stand against Vick, but am angry that an organization like the Humane Society is willing to take a chance on him and put him in the spotlight and in the role of an educator.
