Emily is not a wife and she is not a mother of two. She lives in Seattle, WA, but does not reside in a charming, craftsman style home with a view. She does have a washer and dryer though, which is something. Emily does not write in her home office, but enjoys writing her blog posts while sitting on the couch in some old sweats. She has a dog, but he’s a little overweight and not necessarily well behaved. Emily’s work has appeared on the internet- facebook walls, status updates and emails primarily. She has not been published in The New Yorker, but instead has seen her byline in a small town daily and weekly.
Just wanted to say that I can relate to just about everything you have posted.
hope you don’t mind if I come around reading every now and then?
You made me laugh! Keep on the good work!
Your life sounds like fun, and I really like your style of writing! I’d like to read more!
Thanks! I enjoy spinning the mundane into yarns and for the most part it is fun.
