People ordered their Dick’s hamburgers and fries. She wanted to sit on the sidewalk, she wanted to lay down on the concrete.  Why are you talking to me?  You haven’t talked to me in a year, she slurred.  This should be enough for a bus home, he said while putting a transfer and some change in her hand.
